Don't worry...

I'm not done with blogging for good.  It's just been kind of relaxed around our house lately, not much going on.  I pulled some random photos from my phone which most of you have already seen, just to get you through until I have a real post again!
What about those BLUE eyes?
Our bedroom is finally complete in the new house and every time I walk in the room, I think, "I LOVE that monogram!"
I'm loving all things burlap right now!
On Friday, I caught Fitz and Tootsie napping, with the baby monitor:
Judge if you want but I'll use that monitor as long as I can!
They were resting up so we could go to the football game later that night to see Fletcher in the band!
 Fitz had the perfect view:
I'll be back soon with more interesting posts...I hope!

Free Play!

The bestie had a free room this past weekend, as well as Free Play $, and free shopping $ at the Beau Rivage...so of course, we had to run down there and take advantage!
We got up EARLY Saturday morning, loaded up and hit the road!

We spent a couple of hours at the pool before the big shopping event, soaked up some sun, had a delicious lunch, and met some funny ladies from Louisiana.
When we got back to the room, we found a treat...more freebies!  A whole tray from room service with cheeses, crackers, fruit, nuts and other snacks.  The envelope said it was for Mr. Ronnie Golden.  Someone made an oopsie and we loved it!  It was the perfect afternoon snack!

After a light snack and a quick nap, we headed out to play a while...

stayed out way too late, cleaned up a drunk girl's vomit, laughed a bunch, spent some money and had a ball!
All in all, the perfect one night bestie getaway with freebies all around!

3 Year Old Preschool!

It's that time again!  Time to go back to school!
Remember when Fitz went to his first day of school last year?  I know most children have already gone back to school, but the preschool starts after Labor Day every year, so Fitz just went back this week!
He went 2 days each week last year, but is going 3 days a week this year.
I got him all excited before school, so he would be prepared that he will have a new teacher this year and a new classroom, with new friends!  He used to get mad last year when he went to early drop-off and any teacher other than his teacher was in charge, so he needed to be prepared.  He did furrow his eyebrows at me when I left him in his new room, but he didn't cry at all.
I forgot to take my phone and get his picture in his new class, but we took a selfie at the office before we walked over...see?

Since we close early on Wednesdays and I didn't have court, I picked him up from school myself and took him to lunch at a Mexican restaurant in town.  He loves salsa and cheese dip!
He was so excited to see me when I picked him up and ran and jumped into my arms!  Oh, Mamas, is there any better feeling than that?? I don't think so.
They do a computer class called KidComp, and we signed him up for it this year.  He had a bookmark in his bag that said "computer star" and had his name on it, so I asked him about computer class.  He showed me a stamp on his arm and said, "Mama, I show you!"  He said it about a million times after that, so I assume the teacher told them to show their stamp to their parents, and he wanted to make sure he did as he was told!  Funny boy.
Fitz also went to Awana for the first time on Wednesday.  If you're not familiar, it's kind of like GA's and RA's from when I was a little girl growing up in the Baptist church.  It starts at 3 years old, and they have it at the church where he attends preschool.  We only have one other child at our church and he's 2, so we don't have any young child activities or classes to teach him about Jesus, and I really want him to be involved like I was as a child, so we signed him up.  It's from 5:30-7:30, which is kind of long for young kids, but he said he had fun.  His biggest concern?  The one he keeps talking about since that night? "Mama, it's dark outside!"  I think he was shocked that I left him somewhere and didn't pick him up until it was dark outside!  Haha!
I think this is the start of an awesome year for our little boy and I can not wait to see what all he learns and how much he grows this year!

Labor Day Weekend

It was one of those rare weekends when Daddy was off work, and we spent the whole weekend all together as a family.  We loved it!
We relaxed and played "Where's Bozzley?"
Took a family Jeep ride with the top off, and admired the country views...
 and played outside.
Daddy had to go to work at 3 on Labor Day, so we played inside some with this cool sand Uncle Zac bought Fitz for his birthday.  It's fake sand, won't stick to you, but will make shapes, etc.  From Brookstone.  Get some.  Your kids will love it.

When we got tired of playing, we snuggled up and watched The Goonies for the 456742344th time.
A perfectly relaxing weekend to kickoff the start of our favorite seasons!
