I posted about our race yesterday, but I wanted to share the rest of my runs for the week, too.
I started out with a 3 mile run Sunday morning:
I love watching the town wake up while I run. I start out in the dark and by the time I finish, it's daylight. It's one of my favorite parts of running early in the morning!
I went to the gym Monday morning for some elliptical time, then ran again on Tuesday morning...
I got tons of comments about my shirt when I posted that one on FB :)
I rested my legs on Wednesday, and then did the elliptical again on Thursday. I didn't want to run again because my left foot hurts for a day or two after I run, and I didn't want anything to mess up my race on Friday.
The Glow in the Park run was pretty slow for me, which I guess is due to the paint/powder stations, and the fact that I run better early in the morning, but hey, it's 3 miles, right?
So far, I'm at 27 miles, out of my 30 mile goal for July, so I should be able to reach (and maybe pass) my goal for July!
